Putin changing his tune?

I take it as he is saying this wasn't a Russian hack from the State. How you think this him admitting fault I don't know.

Yes. I hear he likes to play a lot of Soundgarden, which is in Drop D.

I heard that ballots in Midwestern states were only in Russian. They said
"Trump vote yesin" and "Hillary vote Uranium." I heard this through a cousin who heard it through the sister of a guy's brother who heard it from his girlfriend who heard it at Braum's who heard it from Wal-Mart where they have 32 flavors of Blubell.

We will know one way or another , Mueller is a greatly respected person who will look into anything and everything credible. If nothing is found, then we all need to unite behind President Trump, if he did commit crimes, then we all need to push for him (or his associates) to be punished to the maximum extent allowed by law

He earlier categorically denied Russian involvement. This is likely foreshadowing some information about to become public....

There's no hacking. How silly.
Okay, there's hacking, but it could be some 400 lb. guy in New Jersey.
Okay, maybe it's some 400 lb. guy in Minsk.

Yeah... or Russian hacking is such a foregone conclusion that the master of propoganda and disinformation knows when to fade.

... or he could be assisting with a coming Biff defense (i.e. the "collusion" trail stops in Russia with independent hackers and you can't tie them with the russian government.)

Its the truth, personally, I think President Trump is in a lot of trouble, there is way to much smoke, and AG's ( who obviously was appointed by President Trump) do not appoint special counsels without good reason

Most of the smoke seems to be people talking about all the smoke there surely is.

Remind me again. It's been a week or two since your last established your intelligence bona fides. What do you know that members of Congress who would kill their own mother for some dirt on Trump don't?
Republicans in Congress will do everything to protect President Trump, just as the Dems would do if this was reversed.....but......just like the appointment of a Special counsel not being done without some evidence , Congress does not issue subpoenas without some evidence and several have been issued over the last few days. Keep an eye on the Special Grand Jury that was convened in NYC last month, it will be interesting to see who the sealed indictments they issued are for, along with one also in EDVA..............there are just to many entities that only get involved in stuff like this once they receive some sort of credible evidence getting geared up. President Trump from the start discredited to many institutions that have the power to bring him down, he should have embraced them, not insulted them.........

This tells me you have zero idea what you are talking about in this thread.
So Nunes running to the Whitehouse behind everyone's back to give them info he should have shared with his entire committee isn't protecting him? Ryan has bent over so far he is going to need a back brace.............just the committee hearings, the Dems ask questions pertinent to the investigation where all the GOP members do is ask about Obama unmasking people...........that may need to be looked at, but not while trying to get to the bottom of the Russian investigation

You are out of your mind if you believe the GOP establishment as a whole is invested deeply in protecting Trump.

Let me say it again. It makes it clear that you are completely full of shit in this thread. Much respect for your service, but still. Full of shit. In this thread.

Especially when you cite congress The GOP congress is useless. They'll do just enough to protect themselves in midterm elections and nothing more.

Remember when the Bill Clinton scandals were good for the dems in Congress and their agenda.

Almost as if you don't have to like someone for your interests to align.

DJT === Politically expedient for the GOP. Once he isn't you will see POTUS Pence. Unless the Dems are in control and the calculus shifts to DJT expedient for Dems...

The GOP has the power to stop a lot of the stuff he is doing, they have chose not to( as I said the Dems would do the same if Clinton was in) , there have been people screaming for an independent commission, GOP has kept that from happening. Just listen to the questions from these committees, we need to get to the bottom of the Russian / election problem, whichever way it turns out, the GOP is hindering that. Be interesting to see what Comey says Thursday

Let me try this one more time and then I'm done arguing about it. The GOP establishment first and foremost is interested in getting reelected in the mid terms. You don't do that by engaging in open warfare with a republican president Who has some popular ideas within the voting base.

His ideas have been popular with his 35% base, and that is shrinking, the rest of America and the world think he and his ideas are a joke

If the GOP was interested in protecting Trump, a special counsel would've never even been appointed. They would've worked to ensure the AG oversaw the investigation so they could control the outcome ala Bill meeting Lynch on a tarmac. I personally don't believe Trump directly or indirectly colluded with Putin because it would've already leaked. If he did, prosecute him to the full extent of the law.

The GOP, or more specifically, the establishment wing of the GOP trying to protect Trump? McCain, Graham, Paul Ryan trying to protect Trump? Not seeing it.

The GOP had nothing to do with the Special Counsel being appointed, they were against it all the way....despite being appointed by the President, the AG and DOJ are supposed to be neutral and uphold justice aside from politics. The Dep AG obviously saw enough evidenceto be concerned

There was just no way around appointing a special counsel. Not unless DC just wanted total turnover in 2018. The evidence and clumsy coverups (nunes, comey, flynn, manaforte, eric's statements, etc) look awful. Public outcry was too strong and a carreer LE isn't gonna turn a blind eye, either. Best thing for e1 is to get the heat off and appoint one.

The bottom line with all of this is that we need to find out the level of Russian influence in our election, we need to find out if the Trump team colluded with them, and we need to find out if there was obstruction of justice. We know the Russians did try to influence the election, but the other two are what we really need to find out. If there was collusion , then every American should be appalled and those responsible need to be in Prison, if there was none, this country needs to move on. The collusion, IMO , will help answer the Obstruction of Justice, if there was no collusion, then there probably would be no obstruction of justice.........EVERYONE no matter party affiliation should want the answer to these questions.
