Don't feel bad I sent checks off last month totaling well over 100K just for property taxes. My problem with it is I pay taxes in counties I am not allowed to vote which gives me zero elected representation in counties I pay a fairly sizable sum of money to.

It doesn't help but sorry for you as well- there like I say. Most counties and I know the state of Tx have a huge surplus but they still keep burying everyone- I have to raise rent when they raise taxes and like I say- theft. Most single people can't afford to buy or rent anymore and married most have to both work and leave kids somewhere else- it's total BS if you ask me. Especially now with has and products going through the roof.

Think about how happy everyone will be when we get rid of this horrible corrupted system where scumbag politicians and woke
Corporations taking over half our take home pay. We will have 50 Percent More money and families will be better bc one of the parents
Can stay around more with the kiddos,
Be more involved in control of
Kids and we don't have to turn the kids over to corrupted Gov controlled
Schools, More Vacations, get
Rid of our corrupted
Media that drags down our society -
-ITS GONNA BE FRIGGIN AWESOME!'

Taxation is a tool to keep the middle class in close proximity to the bottom class. It has nearly zero impact on the upper class or elite.
Perhaps the Republicans should stop lowering tax rates on the rich. Did their tax rates in the 50s and 60s kill the economy and growth??And perhaps we could raise the corporate tax rate enough so big companies MIGHT pay a dollar for the year…..

just spitballing

Says the mouthpiece of the party that's still pushing and whining about SALT relief, the epitome of tax breaks for the rich.

Have you read the bill? Lol…this oughta be a hoot…
Yes. Have you? If so, are you trying to tell me that an 80K deduction for the next 9 years (has to expire or its too expensive to offset because it is a tax break) doesn't primarily apply to millionaires? Can you give me any citations on that, because that seems counter to what even the left-wing (NBC) media states. That's what's in the Build Back Better bill that the house passed.

More than 90% of the benefit may flow to the top 20% of earners, according to the Tax Policy Center.

In effect its a hand-out to a handful of liberal elites living in deep blue states, heavy taxation regions. But why should we expect anything different. That whole BBB bill is nothing but handouts to Dem supportors. Like the EV credits. They are only available for EV cars made in the US (which I agree with) at a UNIONIZED plant. What do unions have to do with saving the planet from global warming? Either EVs are an answer or they aren't, but it doesn't matter who makes them. (Another example of why I find it very challenging to take global warming seriously, because the people who tell me to take it seriously, put superfluous, non-serious crap like this in their bills).

Now list what rates would be raised to offset such a credit…

Irrelevant. The $300B estimated cost for SALT relief could be applied anywhere else (such as more bridges). But instead, nearly 20% of the expenditures in the 1.7T bill is for millionaire tax relief.

It’s a fine line letting/not letting people “keep what they earn”, huh? I almost mistook you for a “SoCiALiST/ComMiE” there for a sec…

Its ironic. You suddenly are for tax breaks after railing on the Trump one's for years. But i see you failed to actually stay on point and discuss the Salt taxes. You also didnt reply that you read the bill, so I assume you didnt?
