Yes, there's quite a "wealth" gap in North Korea. I'm assuming it's racism since North Korea is definitely not a capitalist economy.
Ah were you under the impression racism and capitalism are the only possible sources of poverty?

Those are the only two we've discussed so far. Why do you think poverty exists in North Korea?
Those poor Koreans live under capitalism. The rich ones are socialists. That’s kind of how it is in every “socialist” country. Damn! If capitalism could just be extinguished from the face of the earth and replaced by pure socialism everybody would be rich like the socialist Koreans!

It's like personal sacrifice, making the right decisions, working your ass off, following the law and being personally responsible for your own actions is a foreign idea to a leftist.
So why is there a racial wealth gap? Do black people not make the right decisions, work their ass off , follow the law, and be personally responsible for their actions at the same rate as white people? If so, is that genetic or cultural? If it is cultural, why do black people have a culture distinct from the rest of America that falls so neatly along racial lines?

If you would pull your head out of your leftist ass you would see what's going on. I swear it's like you either have never had exposure to the black community or you refuse to see the the problems are mostly self inflicted. I've spent time in these communities trying to help only to finally figure out no amount of help will ever be enough. They have been either convinced or brainwashed into thinking they can not succeed in this country by Democrats. Everything they've heard for almost 6 decades is how persecuted they are, how they are victims and will never be able to escape poverty. Hell I don't think I could have overcome the obstacles I did if that is all I ever heard.
There is a reason that immigrants come to this country without being able to speak the language, know nothing of the culture, customs or laws and yet are somehow able to not only make it but prosper. They risked life an limb just to get here to have the opportunity to live in this country yet black people have been here for hundred of years think nothing of the opportunities available to them and consider themselves victims. You ever notice that victims are always on the losing side of things?
Until the black community can escape the chains of Democrats words and policies they will remain in poverty, once they embrace the idea that everything is up to them as individuals they will become prosperous. I'm sorry but that's just the way the universe works.

Bearcat: No such thing as systemic racism in America, success and failure is determined completely by the individual
Also Bearcat: One of the major political parties in America is brainwashing black people into not succeeding

@davidallen

At least edit your made up crap.
I make no excuses for Joe Biden's history on issues of race. If you had said you doubted his sincerity based on his opposition to school desegregation and busing, his pandering to the clearly racist constituency that kept him in office during the 70s and 80s, and his questionable language as recent as 2007 you and I would largely agree.

Throwing in Robert Byrd, using your 20/20 hindsight to rightfully point out that the 1994 crime bill was disastrous to communities of color, or use purported statements from crackhead Hunter as evidence of Joe's current frame of mind is total bullshit. You can push that as hard as you like - it isn't going to stick.

As for me, I tolerate Joe Biden because the alternative was much worse. Trump would say just about anything to get a bump in the polls and seemed to enjoy seeing people react to his hateful rhetoric. Trump held brown and black people in open contempt. More importantly, Trump actively sought to harm people of color and other easy targets like Muslims. We can argue this point if you like.

But as for Joe Biden, he is accountable for his past actions and words. What I've seen so far is a concerted effort to reunite families, demilitarization of policing, a concerted effort to focus on decarceration. Those are hopeful signs that perhaps Biden is working to atone for his past. If he wavers, if he takes harmful action then you better believe the tolerance that has been extended to Joe won't hold.

This gets better by the day.
