This was always going to be eventual result of identity politics combined with forced multiculturalism.

(the same forces pushing for these, are also saying there are 49 genders - it's all about divide.....divide.....divide)

Even our best educational institutions have been infected:

And Jeff Sessions.

Sessions has always tried to stay away from strictly Democrat Party groups.

The Democrats simply substituted one "slave" group for two others:

- "Voting blocks" (Malcolm X specifically warned about this -- see below)

- Illegals -- there is zero within the culture of illegals that Democrat elites admire (hence Dem elites always living physically removed from illegals and having their children in private schools --- even ones calling calling for *increased* illegal immigration live behind walls and have their children in 30k per year private schools - like Jorge Ramos)

Makes you wonder how they get away with it.

What about Strom Thurmond?
What about Strom Thurmond?
I'm glad you asked that question, because the answer clearly demonstrates how the Democrat Party is the true segregation party (or KKK party if you prefer to call it that), and certainly not the GOP. Only 3 Dixiecrats ever switched to the GOP after 1964. Thurmond was among those 3 lone individuals. The VAST majority of Dixiecrats stayed in the Democrat Party and were happy to camp out for the rest of their lives in the traditional party of segregation. None of these men were ever shamed or censured by the Democrat Party apparatus. They remained Democrats until the day they died. Those Dixiecrats who stayed "home" were:

Sen. B. Everett Jordan D-NC
Sen. A. Willis Robertson D-V
Sen. Olin D. Johnston D-SC
Sen. Sam Ervin D-NC
Sen. J. Lister Hill D-AL
Sen. John C. Stennis D-MS
Sen. James Eastland D-MS
Sen. Allen J. Ellender D-LA
Sen. Russell B. Long D-LA
Sen. John Sparkman D-AL
Sen. John “Little” McClellan D-AR
Sen. Richard Russell, Jr. D-GA

Sen. Herman Talmadge D-GA
Sen. Robert Carlyle Byrd D-WV
Sen. Harry F. Byrd D-V
Sen. Al Gore, Sr. D-TN
Sen. Spessard Holland D-FL
Sen. Herbert S. Walters D-TN
Sen. George Smathers D-FL

NZ, the Democrat Party has always had a segregation problem. Your link shows how it will continue to have one for a long time to come.

Guns, thanks for getting the worn out but always soft "Strom Thurmond" lob out of these modern-day segregationists of the current Democrat Party.

Wow only three switched parties? Any clue why they switched? Why do you think those states started electing Republicans?
