But I signed up for the Route 66 half marathon in November. I figured I'd sign up to commit myself. However, I've never even run in a fun run or 5K. I've lost a lot of weight and have been getting into better shape but nothing like what it'll take to get where I need for a half marathon.
SO... what advice do you have for a novice?
Any good build up programs? Tracking apps? Books? Running form suggestions? Gear I should look at?
