Noticed a service type truck in the driveway.
Went out to inquire. One of the two fellows tells me my gas meter is broke in that the usage meter is frozen stuck and isn't revealing how much I'm using.
I kiddingly said, "Come back in the spring when it's warmer."
They said they'd have to replace the meter but darn it all, they didn't have a ladder to access the attic to relight the pilot on the heater.
So, as of now, I'm rocking on a freebie.
They assured me they'd be back EARLY in the morning, of course.
