It's amazing how they all parrot the talking points but seem incapable of articulating anything beyond "racist, homophobic, xenophobic, etc." That's the unaware and compliant citizen that the liberal ruling class expect. Not a single thinking brain among them.

Every bit of that may be true. That doesn't change the fact he's a really smart, successful and decent guy and has a perspective that wise people consider.
No high level coach has the time to really pay attention to what's going on in politics other than what people tell them.
I have a couple of friends that were in that position that leaned left while busy coaching. Once they retired and got a chance to look closely at what was actually going on, they became fairly conservative.
