There's a reason this shit was kept in the DC office. The top brass need to be held accountable, as in actual prison sentences and punitive monetary fines, if they are found to have committed political malfeasance.

“People with too much power will inevitably abuse it.” He’s so close to getting it right! What he should have said is “People with any political power will undoubtedly abuse it.” It’s an unfortunate aspect of human nature. If society is going to grant one group of people political power over everybody else the abuse will begin with small acts and grow exponentially into tyranny. You may not like hearing that, but that’s the way it is. So, yes, in my opinion the FBI should at the very least have its lawful mandate seriously diminished, and probably abolished. All political power, if it’s going to exist, should be decentralized. But that’s just my opinion. Most people have an irrational devotion to their government overlords, and will look upon my opinion as unrealistic and naive. So we sadly continue down the path we’re on. What about you? Do you think the FBI should be broken up?
Some people have an irrational devotion to their naive, unrealistic, simplistic idealist philosophies, and will look upon any opinion contrary to their’s as completely inferior without any real rational justification for doing so.
I think most FBI agents are good guys.
At the same time, when I think of the FBI I am reminded that they had illegal surveillance on MLK.
I am reminded on what happened with the FBI in Waco (disaster, and yes Koresh was a criminal).
I am reminded of the siege on Ruby Ridge.
Maybe we actually do need a spot light pointed in their direction.
