You yourself said football funds the entire athletic program, which further drives enrollment to our beloved university. 100s of student athletes, and 100s or so of coaches & support staff in the AD. Please, the needs of the 2-3 coaches do not outweigh the needs of everyone else, not to mention +100,000 of oSu sports fans. Offer them Analysts positions and see if they can execute in that role if you have empathy concerns in this cutthroat business.
