The Rivals network will be down for maintenance from 1 AM CST to 3:30 CST.
The first 30 minutes will be a full outage, as we are updating we'll be finishing our upgrading of top-of-the-line databases the best that Yahoo can get their hands on. These will also have multiple levels of monitoring which is a critical element that we wanted.
The next two hours will be scores of load tests. This will be testing all of the gifts that Yahoo co-founder David Filo has given Rivals - including 13[/B] new databases, a new network[/B] and 100[/B] new servers. The ultimate goal is use the final two hours of the Planned Outage to ensure they all work harmoniously.
