Picture thoughts

Everyone remembers the thread about the people who taste their thoughts or their memories were in text?

I'm home alone so I did an experiment. I live in my grandparents house which has been completely remodeled. The kitchen is in a different spot, dining room, walls are different everything. I can find my bearings from a few fixed points and close my eyes and in the house is like wearing a virtual reality helmet. As i turn around I can see everything the way it was. it's dark and foggy but I can see down to what was in the cabinets, what was on the counter, I can see the wood grain patterns on the stools, I can even picture my grandparents talking and moving about exactly where they would be twenty years ago.

I think we need some studies on what kind of person can do this and what kind of person can't. What else makes us fundamentally different that we don't know about?

We've all known you are fundamentally different for some time now. Thanks for the confirmation.

PS. Pretty cool. I actually think most people can do that. I have a few sounds and smells that can make those images crystal clear in my mind.
