When the latest FBI "investigation" fails to turn anything up, Ford will file a police complaint and then Dems will screech that the confirmation vote must be delayed! because of the police investigation.

It should have been investigated a long time ago by Maryland.

Corroborating witnesses is going to be a real problem.

More than just corroborating witnesses are actual facts. Even is they find someone who says it happened; proving that is going to be nearly impossible. Short of Kav confessing or some audio or video of the event there just won't be any evidence that is even close to conclusive.
