Oh he’s not funny, you are. :p The hysteria I was referencing was his own attempts at rendering the days protests as overdone and ridiculous. Saying women are hysterical for protesting what they see as a threat to their reproductive rights three times within 30 seconds was a clear message coming from Senator Howdy Doody. Just like Sen Flake from AZ, it only takes one of them to actually do something about our current situation, but instead they want to grandstand and sound good. Action over words.:cool:

Forgive me, I’m old and do not understand this. Sasse exhorted his fellow legislators to abandon their cowardice and do the job they were sent to do: pass legislation and face the voters. That was the main thrust of his talk. With what part about that do you disagree?
