I say it's time for war....whatever that is!! Hell, we having war now I guess. What these morons don't get is the fact that if you compromise both sides can call themselves winners. When they won't even come to the table the tide will turn.
Many would proudly lay down their life for a cause as important as <checks notes> the state of the union venue.

Your demands of trump are not even considered. We voted for a secure border and if that means shutting it down until pelosi strokes out so be it.

Just give the State of the Union address to a half empty chamber. Then rail on the half that chose the policy of #resist as their platform with no willingness to come together for a common solution.

There is no Constitutional requirement that he give the SOTU in a speech in the Capitol before the Joint Houses of Congress.
That didn’t start until Woodrow Wilson.
Trump can give his SOTU in writing to Congress just like all Presidents did for the first century of the US’s existence.
He can give it broadcasting from Mir-a-Lago or wherever else he’d like.
She’s keeping him from giving it in the venue he wants, but she ain’t...can’t....keep him from giving it.
There isn’t even a requirement that he make a speech as a part the SOTU.
Give me a break. There is precedent and modern tradition. It’s not the “venue he wants” it’s what is expected in 2019.

I just don't see how that's germane to the conversation. Nancy is being a twit by her actions. She's within her authority as speaker of the house to do so. But that doesn't make her any less petty or us calling her out for it any less applicable.
Here's the thing. The left calls Trump an asshole. So to combat Trump they decide they have to be even bigger assholes. That's a horrible strategy.

And yes, this is all petty BS distractionary upping the ante by both of them. At this point, I’m kinda interested in how far either one is going to take this. Trying to be a bigger asshole than Trump wouldn’t be my strategy, but just pointing out his asshole behavior hasn’t been terribly effective for them so far. Many of his supporters seem to actually enjoy when he is an asshole.
