Chuck Todd nearly ruined his pants Sunday at the thought of Paul Ryan becoming the Republican Nominee.

I suspect this just a media fantasy, but just to confirm, would any of you prefer Ryan to Cruz?

Check out the likes / dislikes ratio on Ryan's (potential) new presidential ad.

Maybe if he ran from the start but he has not done one debate and I have no real information on his ideas if he ran for president. So to answer your question No I would rather Cruz win. I think it is BS that guy and not spend one dime or any time and some how get the nomination. Nothing would make me rebel against the party more then this. I would rather Trump get the nod.

Not me.

And welcome back.

Ryan showed his true colors when he said he didn't want the Speaker's job then took it. Immediately thereafter he gave in to everything Obama wanted in the budget bill after for years saying the nation couldn't afford the rising debt. He's an establishment politician just like Kasich, Bush, Boehner, McConnell and all the rest.

The answer is NO.

If this board was the collection of neocons some of you rubes think it is, everyone would prefer him. My guess is nobody does.

Unreal – Paul Ryan Schedules Party Leadership Fundraiser at Home of Anti-Trump Super-PAC Donor…
Posted on April 12, 2016

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is heading up a National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) fundraiser in New York on April 25th. However, the venue of the fundraiser is raising some eyebrows:

For those who might not know, the “Ricketts Family” are the primary donors to a Super-PAC specifically created to block Donald Trump from winning the GOP nomination.

Billionaire family Joe and Marlene Ricketts, owners of the Chicago Cubs, have recently given $5,000,000.oo to Katie Packer who heads “Our Principles PAC“, an organization created exclusively to defeat Donald Trump.

Katie Packer recently outlined what they are doing with the Ricketts money:

Moving forward, Our Principles PAC is organizing delegates and deploying a number of tactics with a goal of depriving Trump of as many delegates as possible in upcoming contests. OPP will focus on delegate wins, not individual state wins.

In addition, OPP will focus on states/districts electing unbound delegates to ensure those delegates are not supporting Trump on a first ballot and tracking candidates running for delegate in upcoming conventions to ensure that even if delegates are bound to Trump on early ballots, they move away on subsequent ballots. For Speaker Ryan to be heading up a fundraiser in the home of Donald Trump’s primary financial opponent/antagonist speaks volumes to the intent of the Republican Party when it comes to a unity approach. This is not being tone-deaf, this is transparently by design.

It's amazing how nakedly in the open this is being done.

No, on Ryan.

I'm not sure, though, why anyone is amazed that he would work with a Super Pac that is Anti-Trump. He's pretty openly expressed his disdain for Trump.

If the Repubs parashoot anyone in at the convention, they'll lose in the general.

Oh, and Paul Ryan is a tool. But so is Cruise.

I think this is false. I think there are a few people who they could win with. A military person with trump qualities not including the crybaby stuff.

looks like the repubs are just giving the election away to one pitiful candidate. I don't see how either one of those guys succeeds. I thought trump had a shot but he's proving IQ and dollar bills are never equal.
