Finebaum was on satellite radio today talking about Bama. He was asked to choose between Urban Meyer and Nick Saban if he needed a coach for the next 5 years. He took Meyer. Said that Urban was younger and Saban does not appear to be as focused as in the past. The OC from Ohio State was asked to meet with the Bama staff to explain how they ripped their defense. Finebaum said that he spent a day with Saban earlier in the summer and he seemed to still be in shock over the game. He said one thing that Saban has never said was that his team was defeated by anyone . Bama was just not up for the game.
He also said that he believes the possibility than no SEC team will make the playoff and if that happens the SEC will lose it's perceived national superiority.
I usually can't stand Finebaum because he looks like a dick with ears but he admitted that his pro SEC push has been great for his professional career.
