We need coach Boynton to be successful. I was as pissed as anyone. Coach's heart is right, he can recruit and he has shown good preparation and in game coaching ( not always).
What has been his biggest issue in my eyes is player retention. We always seem to be a young team. More experienced players can make a coach look a lot better than he or she is. Coach Boynton has never really had that and a big part of that is on him.
We don't know what the NCAA issues will do to our program. We haven't had coaches beating down our door to come here. Financial issues are becoming big and even more so if we go through another year of covid issues.
I feel it is in our best interest to encourage our players and coaches.
