I posted this in another thread, but thought I might share it here. I think our schedule is set up nicely for this squad through the end of this month:
vs. Oakland (Saturday) - Oakland has struggled this season (believe they’re 0-5 so far), so this won’t tell us a ton. But it’ll be another chance for a young team to gel and improve.
vs. ORU (Dec. 8) - Don’t know much about this year’s ORU squad, but they usually have some players and are well coached. Another decent test but we probably won’t have to break too much of a sweat.
at Wichita State (Dec. 12) - I know Gregg Marshall is gone, but the fundamental elements of a WSU squad are there. This will be a challenge, but I feel better after watching our performance last night. We’ll need more great play from our guards.
vs. TCU (Dec. 16) - We open Big 12 play at home against an OK team with some good players. I know Cade is looking forward to playing against his buddy Mike Miles. Should be fun to watch.
at Texas (Dec. 20) - This will be tough, but they’ll only get tougher from here. Texas plays good defense and has some great athletes. Greg Brown is a one and done guy who’s looking to posterize anyone and everyone. Cade and Brown are also friends, so the competitiveness will be high.

at Tech (Jan. 2) - Welcome to the meat of Big 12 play.
