A fun game to play if you're driving through Mississippi or Alabama is to have a competition to see who in the car can spot and call out the most Waffle Houses. Something to do for hours.

I stayed in Biloxi once in a hotel right across the street from the coast, and if you stepped out onto the sidewalk you could look east and west and clearly see a Waffle House in both directions.
