Onama's legacy

A more important question: what incredibly stupid shit will the Kenyan do from now to inauguration to f*ck things up even worse? Ancillary ?: what will the world's bad boys do?

obviously his shitty health care and suicidal (and sketchy AF) Iran deals will be dissolved in the first 100 days.

What's left you ask?

Not much.

The opportunity is here for Trump to convert a large number of the black voters to something other than democrat voters. Doing this will be more beneficial than most everything else.

Meeting with a broad cross-section of leadership within the Black community and also the Hispanic community should be an early agenda item.

I think his legacy will be the abortion known as Obamacare, and being the first president to support gay marriage. Overall he didn't get s*** done.

I think Trump has a very unique "opportunity" regarding the growing abuse (both Dems and Reps on both sides) of "Executive Orders". His opportunity would be to reverse all of Obama's (in one fail swoop) while at the same time announcing publicly that he will not abuse the privilege himself (and then follow through with that).

Unfortunately, I am not convinced he will do the latter.

We really need to break this cycle of Presidential unilateral legislation that usurps the separation of powers intended in the constitution.

When I was in high school I chose to study Nixon and specifically Watergate as an elective project. I actually don't recall which class it was.

That study solidified several things for me, a staunch conservative to that point and since:

- Republicans aren't necessarily in the right just because they are conservative

- Hillary Clinton was/is more dangerous than Bill (yes, she was involved in Watergate, fanning the flames of division for her personal benefit long ago)

- Nixon's successes in taking the arguments about executive orders through the SCOTUS (and obviously the associated Vietnam connection to that) were possibly the most damaging things to the Republic to come out of the '60's and '70's.

- Politicians in general clearly dislike the bounds created by the Constitution, proven by at least 80 years (by 1990) of surprisingly overt attempts to violate its intent and sometimes even its literal language.

Don't misunderstand, I think it was good that Nixon resigned. But the reason for me is more about the lasting damage he did with executive orders than any involvement he had with the stupid DNC break-in.

Executive orders are not the problem. It's what they are being used for that is the problem.

Oh I don't know about that. He weaponized the DOJ and IRS. He turned his backbon immigration law and benched ICE and Border Patrol. He's appointed a bunch of liberal judges. He made a large cash ransom payment to Iran. He forced us to care about bathroom choice. He lended his support to the violent hate group BLM. He's had his thumbs up his ass while watching broke ass Russia become the dominant player in the middle east and has given Iran the money to join them. He had a freakin beer summit. He handed Iraq to ISIS. He put more folks on the government tit than any other president in history.

He's done a lot, a whole lot, that he'll be remembered for. I'm saying that he's done so much that the people of this country elected Donald Trump as the next president. That's a grand legacy right there.

Apparently, Stein and Hildebitch missed the deadline for asking for a recount in Pennsylvania. She can still sue but not get the recount she wanted.
