It’s interesting the influence the old Kstate model has or may have on OSU football.
When you look at our coaching roster you can see at least 3 coaches from the old Snyder coaching tree, not to mention his own son:
Joe Bob Clements
Charlie Dickey
Sean Snyder
Bill Snyder was always known for the way he rebuilt the Kstate program and turned them into a well disciplined football team. I would say he knew how to build a culture before the word culture was big or used a ton.
I don’t know how much influence that may or may not of had on Gundy as he came up and was able to see the Snyder culture up close, but he certainly has now built an Oklahoma state culture and coaches from the old Kstate model seem to fit in well to what we have built at OSU……or at least Gundy thinks so.
It’s just an interesting parallel to me as I just read how our special teams was working under Sean Snyder.
