I see Lance Dixon won by forfeit over Joel Dixon, I wonder if they just didn't want to go against each other.

I watched the Koo vs Marstellar match and have got to say that I was more impressed with Koo than Chance. He got himself in a hole early but the last two periods consisted of Marstellar trying to fight Koo off his legs. He looked completely gassed and didn't make a serious attempt to score after the 1st period. Surprised that he came back to win in the finals by that much.

From 1st Place Hawk's description this sounds like a classic case of not being right for that weight at the time of the tournament. To wrestle poorly close to the weigh-in's then better in the finals seems that he is either pulling too much weight or not pulling it correctly.
Sounds like the redshirt is the right thing for Chance to do.

Mat fan. Agree with you completely. If/when Chance makes the adjustment to 157 he will do just fine. Sounds like he still has some things to figure out on weight management. Would be surprised if the "gassing" issue that some have described is not weight management related.

I followed his matches on track. The finals match (3+ hours after weighi in ) seemed very similar to his high school matches.
