I predict:

1. HRC gets the nomination;

2. Rubio gets the nomination;

3. Rubio = POTUS. Fla electoral votes are a big deal and it takes a ton of pressure off the GOP.

All that said, the dems have basically given it away. HRC is an old, uninspiring DINO, Bern is too old, Bill Clinton looked 108 on the stage last night with his mouth open... if ever the GOP was going to win one, this should be it.

They also have a horrendously awful field. The big wild card is if The Donald gets mad and runs. I wouldn't be surprised if he did, as he could triangulate both establishment candidates. If it's Cruz (surely not!) then he probably couldn't have a viable 3rd party candidacy.

Damn I said the exact thing to a buddy this morning. Talked about slick dick's mouth being wide open looking like he needed to be admitted to a facility, as well as Rubio getting the nod for the repubes. Trump will win NH and I think Rubio takes SC. He's got some momentum he just needs to build on it.

I liked and agreed with a @syskatine post. Holy shit.

Seems likely for the reasons stated. First hispanic, young likable energetic guy who can appeal across lines etc. In the end though, he just seems like better packaging for Jeb/Christie and will reward the GOP establishment, insuring no changes in philosophy or direction.

I don't see Trump running third party.

Would Biden say Rubio is an articulate Hispanic?

Wasn't Rubio the tea party guy in Florida just a few years ago, but somehow he is the establishment guy?

Trying to work together doing something diametrically opposed to what he said when he ran and won with Tea Party support.
Can I get a side by side comparison of what you're talking about?

Then an estimate of how that diminishes the probability of electing Hillary or Sanders.

Thanks.

When you get the backing of a group of grassroots activists that is attributed as a large part of the reason you were elected, it probably isn't a great idea to renege on one of your key campaign platforms that engenered their support in the first place two years later, all the while sidling up next to the very Republicans said grassroots group is interested in working against.

If you do so, it's really quite unbecoming to feign hurt and surprise over the backlash.

I'm not speaking necessarily about myself. I'm addressing why those who don't like Rubio don't like him. It's a concrete, very real reason. You may think people should do the pragmatic thing, but maybe they're ****ing sick and tired of doing the pragmatic thing.

I've got no issue with turning allegiance in the gave of being burned. This is still real life.

Wow, that made no sense (my entry).

In my defense, I've had, at least, 6 Revolvers...the beer of champions.

I just read Jason Huston's essay, "The first lead of Acid Rock," and I must say it's an exceptional piece of work. His insightful analysis of the acid rock movement is not only informative but also thought-provoking. What I particularly appreciated was his meticulous use of the https://essaypro.com/blog/ama-citation-format ama citation format throughout the essay. It not only adds credibility to his research but also demonstrates his dedication to academic rigor. Jason's essay takes the reader on a journey through a fascinating era of music, and his engaging writing style makes the topic all the more captivating. I'm truly inspired by his work and look forward to reading more from him in the future!
