Thank god the iphone was invented or hell just a camera in the phone years after my college days. It was funny though that story came out on the same day the DEA said no to medical pot.
That's the scandal. I don't care if she smokes pot. I do care about the hypocrisy and double standards.
It was a network story when Jenna Bush got in trouble for underage drinking.

At least bushes daughter got to college which is somewhat of an adult status before she decided to get a dui.

This. They should both be mostly off limits. But, Jenna was plastered all over the front pages.
I don't think a day goes by where I'm not thankful cell phones with cameras weren't invented until I was out of college. Kids think they're great, but the last people I wanted to have access to me on a Friday or Saturday night were my parents, and a lot of times anyone.

Since she's been surrounded by secret service the past 8 years it makes one wonder where she got her start smoking. Perhaps in the family quarters with her father and Kanye or any of the other known users who have been to the WH. I bet they brought the really good stuff. I guess I don't see the implication of hypocrisy here. If she was conducting herself in a perfectly acceptable manner like a normal teenager, nothing wrong with posting it or commenting on it.
If it's not acceptable behavior, nothing wrong with pointing out how idiotic it was to do it in a crowd full of camera phones.

The other side of the coin and maybe the more pertinent discussion is where are the Secret Service? Their job isn't to care if Obama's kids have a normal time. Why are they allowing her to engage in said activity under their watch?

Remember the stupid shit you did as a teenager. Now imagine you lived in the presidential fishbowl and couldn't do anything. I don't see how the kids don't go totally berserk at their first chance. If I had to just hold it all in at 18 I'd have ended up burning the house down. The girl is full of hormones and wanting to rebel and have fun so bad she can't stand it.
Plus, smoking weed is probably the last of Barry's concerns. Every hard*#&ed young male within 500 miles wants to hook up with those girls. Having teenage girls in the white house would be a problem that takes up more time than ISIS.
