Just to be accurate, Obama probably owns some responsibility for the Syria mess, primarily through his inability to formulate any coherent coalition within the region to offset Russia & Assad. However, the actual refuge program I thought was founded under Bush following the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

A friend and coworker of mine is a young devout Muslim from Pakistan. Dude absolutely killed me last year with his stories of trying to teach his wife to drive. I don't have a point here, your post just brought back some hilarious memories.

Unfortunately, the American left has found itself a good friend in these Muslims who hate this country and our constitution as much as they do. Muslims hold the Quran and Sharia law above the American Constitution any day of the week and they will tell you so. Their way has no place in our open and forward thinking society.

This was the case in Saudi as well. Our neighbors (I was on the Aramco compound in Dhahran) who had gone to college in the US taught his wife how to drive. Setting up cones and trashcans in the street so she could learn to park. That was a sight.
