NS - What is the dumbest tradition your hometown does?

Duncan, OK and in HS Duncan had (probably still does) sororities for HS girls. There were 3 sororities. Jolly Jills was one of them. Just like in college, lots of crying and bitching if they didn’t get into the right one.

I know Footloose was based on Elmore City, no dancing is a hell of a ban until 1980.
