To anyone that can help,

Here's the situation...my grandmother two years ago suffered a major stroke. My mother became her legal guardian even though she was married and her husband was still living. The husband would not allow my grandmother to move back into their home because he did not want to take care of her. He also withheld legal document stating that my grandmother did notwant to be put on a feeding tube. Two days after being put on a feeding tube my mother was giving the documents and then it was too late.

After becoming the legal guardian of my grandmother my grandmother moved in to my mothers house and has been there ever cents until her death to two mornings ago. All of her belongings all of her legal documents are in her house and the husband and his children have already gone through it all and will not give any of it to us. We have received some xerox copies of her passport and some of my grandfathers personal items but none of the originals. Today we planned her funeral arrangements and her husband refuses to put a dime towards anything. We have called the lawyer that has the wheel on file but he's being a hard ass.

What are my mothers options as legal guardian and executor of the will that we do not have? Is my grandmother's husband legally responsible for her burial fees.? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, does anybody know of any good lawyers in this matter in the Tulsa area? My mom lives in Bristow and my grandmother lived in broken arrow
