William "Dub" Manahan passed away Easter night. Long time family friend, owner of Stones Propane in Durant, huge Cowboy fan. And there are not a lot of Cowboy fans in Durant, OK. He and my dad built our first cabin in Cloudcroft, New Mexico back in the 70's. Lots of wonderful memories. Dub was OSU class of 1951, his wife Marty class of 1952. Dub was a member of Sigma Nu and Marty a member of Pi Phi. Both loved golf, very competitive and loved the 19th hole refreshment. They were very instrumental in my choosing OSU and now both my daughters are alumni. Spoke to his wife tonight and told her no better day for Dubs funeral than Masters Friday. Say a prayer for Marty and give a toast for Dub this weekend during the Masters. Thanks guys.
