Let's get on with the real sport at Oklahoma State University. Seriously, November 11th and our first match in Albany against North Carolina can not come quickly enough. First home match in GIA on 11/18 against Minnesota.

LETS GO POKES!!!

Do you know when we will have wrestle offs? 149, 184 and HWT might be interesting.

Doubtful any wrestle off at 184. Conflicting reports that Keegan Moore is no longer on the team. Do not know this for a fact however. 149 could be very interesting and competitive. When you have average 197 pounder go up to heavy weight I do not know how you expect good results and if the 2x national juco champion can not beat him then that tells you it is going to be a down year for an OK State heavyweight.

I hope Keegan is still on the team. I think he has a chance to really breakout at some point, even if it's not this year. That's besides the fact that he is our only depth at 184/197 other than Bear Hughes.

Scott Casber interviewed Coach Smith on Takedown Wrestling on 9/19. He was asked about the new staff and wrestling in Italy. Then he was asked if any true freshman would start this year. Coach said no, but that we would see new faces at 174 (mentioned Jacobe), 184 (said Andrew and Keegan would be "duking it out", also said Keegan had "a lot of talent"), and 285 (said "a few new people, gonna have to see how it goes"). Coach didn't say anything about 149 specifically.

Glad to hear comments from John about Keegan. I have heard as I said, conflicting stories about whether he is on the team or not.

FWIW, a couple of months ago a poster on the Iowa board said Keegan had left OSU, but I just figured they were mistaken. If he does leave, he could try to join his brother at UNI, but they are part of the Big 12 so that might complicate things. Hope he stays.

I would agree in that I think Moore has some very high end potential. Hopefully he is still here.

My hope at HWY is that Andrews can take a step and become a serviceable HWY. He was a JUCO NC and went 12-3 last year in open tournaments.

I appreciate the info Obe and Wrassler.
