I hope the coaches go back and review the video closely, cause Picc pinned himself twice in those tilts. He needs to roll thru those different.
I'd have to go back and watch it but it didn't jump out to me watching live. He was in complete control turning the guy multiple times.
yes, in control, but his back was flat at least twice. Most refs probably wouldn't call it but there's always a chance of some that might. I've seen it happen at NCAAs and that's a terrible time to pin yourself in a match that you are totally controlling.
Back from Reno and listened to the match. Kaid has not looked well in several matches this year after getting out to a big lead. Is he pulling too much weight? He looks like a small 133 pounder to me but people carry their weight differently. We need to wrestle better tomorrow. Chandler will have his hands full with the Wyoming 165 pound wrestler who won Reno in impressive fashion. Just a thought about Reno, Mr. Earl and I had a good time along with KC Scott and the backups looked good. Very impressed with Boo who was the aggressor in the Tsirtsis match and deserved a better fate. Daton was never in danger against the two ranked wrestlers he beat but they were no walk-overs. Ronnie Bresser twice did the Ali Shuffle during his match with Daton which may have contributed to his injury default to Eli Hale who was leading when he defaulted. Eli was dominant on top during the tournament. Andrew Marsden did well at 197 considering he was in the process of pulling to 184. We need him in the lineup particularly since Keegan was injured in his match tonight and did not look well from the start. Preston's first start of the season was impressive against a 12-3 wrestler. Pic dominated his short match and we have three of the best 125 pounders in the country after Daton and Eli finished first and third at Reno. Not a good showing by keegan. Hope he didn't tweak his knee. Love watching weigal on top. Seemed like Brock was too dependent on slide by which he scored ok multiple times. Nice to see heil with a pin. Big match for him tomorrow.
