Watch what happens to the price of hay this upcoming season. Many of those that grow hay are not fertilizing their fields this year due to the cost of fertilizer. That will dramatically affect hay output and unlike years where hay is scarce because of drought the entire country will run low of hay. If certain parts of the country expereince a drought there could be a huge problem. I know several cattle people that are gradually reducing their herds to try and get in front of all of this. It's a shit show.
Freakin sad- my fertilizer last year was $2k-several hundred cheaper in 2020 and 2019- can't afford it this year
