Yeah, completely dumb. The people of California who are affected by wildfires aren't the ones responsible for policy. Punishing the victims is probably the most ignorant political position ever.
Damn that is savage. Why would this be needed when people are spending their morning making fun of chuck and Nancy?
I'd redeploy the military out of California and stop any federal law enforcement grants to any place in the state as well. Any other way I could reduce the federal money footprint in California I'd do as well. Federal highway funds, research grants, national labs, etc. All stopped or shut down.
