That should be a good one. Its funny how they list heritage hall like it is a city, it was the same way at WNO.
Jaime Hernandez dec, Gfeller 3-2 scoring the only takedown although Gfeller made two very good leg shots but Hernandez countered both times grabbing Gfeller's leg. Good match but low scoring.
Gfeller has not had a good summer or fall by my memory. It seems to me he was injured several times and has had more losses then the number 9 wrestler in the country should. Maybe he shouldn't be wrestling 45 because he has not been impressive. I also think for the future not getting Singletary at HWT could be costly.
He hasn't been full healthy and is in a growth period physically but you can't dig the kid for still taking all comers.
He wants to wrestle the best and does so even if he isn't 100%.
The match yesterday literally could have gone either way. He has a very bright future as a top end college wrestler.

Harley, I disagree. Singletary according to John is not a heavyweight. Gfeller has had injuries and yet he ha wrestled well against top flight talent. He needs a year in the room and on the weights to grow into his weight which could be even higher than 149. However, I do agree we need a heavy weight badly in the next year.
Harleycowboy, difference of opinions on rather Singletary can grow into a true HWT at the college level. Singletary was being recruited by a lot of coaches for that weight so time will tell.
