Women probably could still do that today. If men did it they'd be strung up with fish hooks through the eyelids from the nearest tree in a NY minute.
I would have been a Junior in college at that time and I remember them doing that. I recall the student body thinking it was all in good fun and no harm. Man, I remember those sights in color and to see a picture that looks so old. Still young at heart and in my mind, and my body is physically falling apart from severe old sports injuries. It is a really odd place in life, when your mind and body are not in sync with your actual age.
I've been told the Phi Delt house did something similar during bid week in a long gone non-PC era. Would've been fun.
Remember this well and thought it was hilarious! PC sucks.
Maybe not as well as you might think. I remember guys avoiding the front of the library as if it was plague-ridden while that was going on. The poor suckers that walked by unknowingly virtually ran away as fast as they could.
Right here! Used to go in the back door....before my toxic masculinity kicked in and gave me all kinds of confidence.
