New mattress; Tulsa area reccomedations?

I've had two friends order from Casper. They both were happy. Something about getting a mattress in a vacuum sealed pouch in the mail is weird to me.

I have back issues. Looking into a sleep number. Anyone had any experience with these? My dad loves his.

I've got a Tempur-pedic Cloud breeze. I would highly recommend it. I've had lower back issues for 10 years and had 4 mattresses in that time frame. This one is by far the most comfortable and best for my back.

My wife and I ordered a Purple. We are getting it today. After we try it out, I'll report back with our findings.

Ok...so, we got the Purple.

I actually like it. My back felt really good this morning and my wife's shoulder didn't hurt like it had been the last month every time we woke up. Some of that was probably due to the fact that our old mattress was for shit after 12 years.

But...

My wife is tiny, and gets cold easily. The gel layer on the top keeps me cool, but it freezes her. Soooo....we went to the fair today and I went nuts and bought the most expensive freakin Tempurpedic they had...with all the goos and gahs, massage, elevation of the head and legs, split mattress....everything.

We get it delivered near the middle of the month, so I will have to report back after that. But laying on That thing with my head and legs propped up and the massager working me over while I watched a movie on my phone...priceless.

So I guess I went deep on this bed business and will have reviews for both the Purple and the top o the line Tempurpedic. But I take laying on my fat ass seriously, so this should be good.

Get a Purple or Casper. Don't personally own one, but I have only heard positive things from people I know who do. Will strongly consider both my next go-round.
