I would love to have that gun in .257 weatherby mag or . 257 Roberts.

The other two on my radar are the Mark V Accumark with stainless barrel in .338 Lapua and the Ultra in .30-378.

dts, I agree on muzz break, would rather have gone without it....

But this feel in my lap at $2,000 all in... rifle only fired once...

I will say this, with muzz break, it fires like a 220 swift!!

also agree on .257, but I plan on dropping a few Elk at 300 yds plus in the near future.... I absolutely love this rifle...

PHs will frown heavily on the muzzle brake, but after shooting my .300 Weatherby a half dozen times, I feel like I've pitched 9 innings. Muzzle brakes make a lot of sense...nice rig!

I just finished fine tuning my .300 Weatherby and a muzzle break sounds like a good idea right now.

200 - 220 grains makes that thing kick like a mule.

I'll pass on 450. Sighted in on opening day at noon. Put up target on 9" diameter oak tree. First shot put hole through tree trunk. Shooting Barnes dt. It likes 79 grain powder. First 3 shots with 79 all touching, 4 th was 1/4 " high right... Barrel was on fire....

Went to stand were we been seeing 8 point management buck that evening.. feeder went off at 5:30, doe under feeder at 5:35, buck followed at at 5:45, went broad side at 5:53, gave him sleeping pill at 5:54, gutted and dropped off at processor by 7:05... Back eating Angus t-bone grilled over mesket by 8pm!!!!!

Just got back from the fifth day of climbing all over th Pike Natiomal Forest looking for elk stuck in the deepest holes available

What t wouldn't give for a whitetail, 100 yard shot, and a tree stand right now.

Anyone that has seen the pics on FB can attest.

I'm about to kill my poor dad.
