New Batman V. Superman trailer ...

Are you kidding me Been?

Hearing Antman has been getting decent reviews. I'm excited about it. Marvel needs something good after a mediocre Avengers movie.

Really stoked about Star Wars this Christmas too.

Best thing about that trailer was the introduction of Wonder Woman.

I'm sure I will see it. Just can't be optimistic after how pathetic MOS turned out to be.

Understand. It was about on the level of the last two Thor and Ironman movies.

I take these things for what they are. Sometimes they come out and are really good, like the first Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Bale's Batm trilogy.

Most of them become just a pleasure of seeing these characters I loved as a kid fleshed out on the big screen.

I don't ever expect deep, Oscar winning performances.

I really hate the comic this is based on, and as a Superman fan, it annoys me this ostensible Superman sequel is basically Justice League 0, but I thought that trailer was pretty awesome.

I disagree with you on comparing MOS to the Marvel movies. Those movies were just OK. MOS was a steaming pile. Just my opinion.

Most everyone disagrees with your take. By all accounts, those four Marvel movies were pretty bad.

MOS weakness was it didn't give the audience a reason to empathize with the hero.

Funny moment at SDCC yesterday, Ben Affleck said he ran into Christian Bale in the Batman section of a store in LA. Both were buying a Batman costume for their sons, coincidentally. Affleck asked Bale for any advice on the role. Bale told him to make sure he can get a suit he can take a piss in.

Rotten Tomatoes gives the following numbers

Thor. 77%,76
Thor-dark world. 65%, 78
IM 2. 72%, 72
Avengers 2. 74%,87

MOS 56%, 76

The first number is all movie critics (who clearly think MOS was at least a level below the movies you listed and at least 2 levels below 3 of the 4).

The second number is the public who basically lumps them all together into the same group.

I am on the same page as the critics. You are on the same page as the masses.

FYI both groups gave GOTG and The Avengers and Days of Future Past over 90% so it is not like the critics don't know a good movie when they see one.

I'm starting to get burned out on all the comic book movies.

The Chris Nolan Batman Trilogy was awesome...the first couple of Spiderman movies with Toby Maguire were excellent...I really liked Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm sure there are some others that were good that I just can't recall now. (As a kid, I remember loving the Christopher Reeve Superman movies.)

I watched the first Avengers...didn't really care for it...watched the Thor movies & thought they were average. All the Hulk movies were bad, imo. I absolutely hated the most recent Superman movie...the one where Russell Crowe played Superman's father.

But this Batman v. Superman does nothing for me. I have no interest in it.

oh...I want to add... I'm totally pumped about Star Wars.
