Netanyahu's assault on the courts in Israel. Thoughts?

Head of Mossad just now says “if chaos manifests we stand with the law” ( i.e., against the new law).the law is interpreted as Supreme Court which is being all but abolished as of today.

I’d love to hear Netanyahu’s justification for doing this before I draw specific conclusions but it’s hard for me to imagine any scenario where I would support him.
I don't pretend to know what Israel's Judicial branch is structured like, and to try to apply the American Government system of checks and balances to Israel's government like the left wing media sites are doing feels like it would be in error.

It is my understanding judges in Isreal only have to declare a law "unreasonable" in their opinion to over turn it. Judges are mostly left leaning so it hamstrings the ability of the conservative government to govern.

Better explains the why of the reforms.

"That reform curbs the overweening power of the Israeli Supreme Court, which declared in the 1990s that it had the unilateral ability to strike down executive actions by simply declaring them "unreasonable." Now, the Israeli Supreme Court will still be able to strike down executive actions -- but they'll have to ground their rationale in actual law rather than simple political disagreement."

Care to show me where the country of Palestine is on a map? I'm struggling to find it.

Dims will not take a position because they want Dims to expand and pack the SCOTUS.
None of the Dems will go on record against it because its exactly what they want to do here.
As a Democrat, I go on record right now in opposing what is occuring in Israel.

Also, what is occurring in Israel has nothing in common with the judicial reform being proposed by some Democrats in this country. Anyone who is really paying attention and has the ability to reason would know this.

You reason?

When?

You rationalize talking points.

Yawn.

We need to keep this thread on topic. This is an important topic worth discussing on this board, unlike a lot of the nonsensical junk that gets so much attention around here.

Do you have an original thought to add to the topic of this thread instead of your silly ad hominem? If so, go ahead and give us your thoughts on this topic.

God forbid a Supreme Court should be made to ground their opinions in the law and not "reeeeeeee...unfair! Unfair!"
Who are the ones in Israel right now claiming "reeeeeeee...unfair! Unfair!"?

And what are those who are claiming this in Israel attempting to do right now?

I did, Slappy.

We’ve never seen you use reason.

All you do is rationalize party talking points.

Watch.
