It's early in the game, but let's assume that UT beats OU tonight, since they are leading and the game is in Austin.
That will leave OSU, OU and UT all at 2-6 in Big 12 play. Neither OU, nor UT has a chance to make the Big 12 tourny without finishing at least 9-1 in Big 12 play (or winning the Big 12 tourny, of course). They simply didn't fare well enough in non-conference play.
So, let's eliminate the 2 of them from the conversation. That leaves 8 teams.
KU and BU are clearly going to be in the field.
KSU, ISU and WVU are all above .500 in Big 12 play, and played well enough in the non-conference games that they would seem to be pretty safe.
That leaves 3 teams fighting for a 6th bid. OSU, TCU and Tech. OSU is now 2-0 against those two teams, and has superior non-conference metrics to both of them. That puts us in pretty damn good position to get in ahead of either of them even though they both have 1 more Big 12 win than OSU.
The Big 12 will get a minimum of 6 teams in, probably 7 (possibly 8). Right now, despite our 6 game losing streak to start conference play, we are well-positioned to move up into 6th in the standings. Just need to win games and keep pushing in the right direction.
