In 1983 OSU won the Big 8 tournament beating a really good Mizzou team, we had Combs, Clark, and Andrews and it was a really good team and a fun team to watch. Team was coached by Paul Hansen.’
OSU drew Princeton in the first round in Corvallis, Oregon and lost.
To this day, that game still hurts. I was a student at the time and that team had a chance to do some damage. Our team liked to run and Princeton was a master in that 4 corners offense and just sucking the life out of the basketball, we never did get in sync that day and get in to any offensive flow.
