Was watching NBC Nightly news on Thursday night, and they did an story on the protests against the NFL for CK being blackballed. The story obviously focused on his being excluded due to the protests, but it made a specific statement: "Released by the 49ers" and it was directly following a statement that he had led the team to the Super Bowl in 2012. This implies (to me) that the NFL team cut him for his protests. But in reality he opted out of his contract (he wasn't cut). Is this just a clerical error, or is this another representation of the leftwing media editing the story (in this case falsely) to promote the larger race-driven agenda? While this certainly isn't as blatant as the Trayvon Martin selective editing, this strikes me as bad as its actually a false statement. I'd also note that no where does the story state that he opted out of his $16M contract (which I would think is a relevant fact in his 'unemployment' story).

Its at about the 50s mark, if you are interested.

To the centrists and leftists out there, do you think NBC did this intentionally to push the story just a little further left or was this simply an editing accident?

there are no "accidents"

illegal alien moves to undocumented worker
is now migrant

nbc wants eyeballs with this story

Screw KP and the NFL. Amazing how everything is racist these days....yet NFL & NBA rosters are overwhelming made up of non-whites. Maybe no owner wants the locker room distractions or maybe the guy shot his wad in 2012.

would love to watch OSU guys in the NFL but won't happen again. Like the old guy said "if politics is not you business then keep your business out of politics." Amazing how many of these goofballs can't figure that out.

I actually don't care about CK. Although I find it interesting they were protesting the NFL offices. They ought to go protest the teams they think should be signing him. Its not like the NFL is going to tell Kraft and Belichek, you must sign him.

I was more interested in the fact that once again, NBC News failed to actually report the truth. If they can't be honest about simple facts, then how can I trust any of their reporting? Its not fake news, because there were protests and that is news. But they simply chose to be dishonest in representing the underlying reasons.

Idiot thinks he's some kind of race messiah when he actually grew up in a "privileged" environment. Dumbass.

I like the guy a lot. I have no problem with him peacefully standing up for what he believes. I don't agree with it, but that's not the issue. I like how he donated proceeds from his jersey sales to charity . That's real, world changing legacy stuff.
This has become politicized by the left and the media to the extreme, and his message seems lost now.
All this said....if he were any good he'd be playing.
