First and foremost, I want to say thanks for anyone taking the time to read ANYTHING I write, I'm not a writer. LOL.

Second, the OSU football staff has done a great job with this Extreme Camp experience, it is simply top notch. The amount of freedom we are given to move about the facilities is the same as a player or coach. Good food at the training table, water or Gatorade almost everywhere you go. The $1500 sounds like a lot of money, and it is. I have never left thinking I wasted a single dime. I HIGHLY encourage anyone that is an OSU fan to give it a try.

On to football....

I'm not going to break down position by position, rather I will just type what comes to mind.

Jordan Brailford will be a solid player for us at DE, he's having a great camp. Saw several disruptions from pushing OL back in traffic lanes. Trace Clark will back him up and push for time. Seems to have developed a "mean streak" as was told to me.

Averette is making some nice plays, looks fast and drew some nice comments from Spencer. Will be a factor.

As was stated in another thread, Burton looks solid in the Star. Good speed and uses that 6'3" 215 with bad intentions.

Michael Hunter will be a great addition to the secondary. With Lampkin, Peterson, Richards and now Hunter, CB is shaping up well.

Ogbah will be Ogbah...disruptive, quick and strong.

MR looks the part, has all the tools he needs. Will he make mistakes, yes..but what I have seen is a kid that WANTS to be the best. He listens. He made a 40 yard throw between 3 defenders for a TD, and threw a simple 10 yard flat INT. Point? He will throw a lot of TD's but will need to work through the reads to keep himself out of trouble. He does do a good job of throwing it away when he reads everything and sees nothing. Love the kid.

JW has an incredible attitude. And without giving it away, he will play a big role in our success this year. Gonna be exciting to see this unfold.

Carson will be a force for us at RB. First thing I noticed was his liking of contact. Very physical runner, and will initiate the hit instead of waiting for it. Cuts upfield well, very smooth runner.

Childs has "a chip on his shoulder", really wants to prove that he's the guy. That can only be good for us.

Carr and Mays will compete for the 3 slot, and both look good so far. Coaches like what they see.

Ateman. Wow, what a difference a year in the dog house makes. Better attitude, stronger physically. His blocking is really good and he positions himself to succeed in it. Fighting for the ball MUCH better in his routes.

Keep an eye on Keenan Brown. He's a big body, good wheels, soft hands. Reminds me of the GOOD Tracy Moore. LOL

That's my tired, drained late night Extreme Camp report. I know I didn't cover everything I saw...but I'm going to sleep. I'll be glad to answer questions if you guys have any. Thanks for reading..
