let me start off by saying that I tried really hard to to over hype this team, but I failed. I thought we were going to be a legit contender.
I also thought 76's breakdown was awesome, as was indy's.
I have watched a lot of college football today, Friday, even finished the TCU game Thursday night. I will say this, our offensive play calling is absolutely horrid and there is no more questioning that anymore! I literally could almost call every play. For OSU and the Gundy era, this is embarrassing!
Qb- solid performance, needs to just throw it away more. Fight on the next snap!
RB- i don't see why Carson was the starter? Rennie played harder, with more passion, BUT he has NO MOVES, so I can see why Carson gets the nod.
WR- did they even get off the bus??? I mean Washington was shit down, shep barely played abd they dropped some easy passes. Their blocking is the worst I have seen in my 15 years!
TE- not used enough. Didn't block very well either.
DL- wow! Very impressed, but DE's I thought rushed upfield too much and ogbah lost the edge too many times.
LB- stuffed the run, but really are slow, or at least Simmons. Did not really see what the hoopla is all about on Burton, hoping it was just this game.
CB- Richards is a liability...period. Lampkin, rusty.
S- sterns was good, flowers is like Richards...biggest liability.

Let me say this though...
- 1st game
- best defense in MAC
- No game film on the opponent
- Away game with bad weather
- Definitely overlooked this team
