The empanelment and appearance before a federal grand jury is not secret. It is a matter of public record. The article itself says "reportedly" for Russia. Given that Mueller is only empowered to investigate issues involving Russia, no leak is needed for confirmation of why he might be going to a grand jury. When asked to confirm even that one has been empaneled, Mueller representatives declined to do so.

Evidence presented before a grand jury is generally confidential, except a witness can talk about their own testimony unless specifically prohibited from doing so by the grand jury order.

And nothing in that article reflects or indicates Mueller leaked any information.

It was me. Head I think posted a link where there was a report about Mueller's investigation. I read it. The leak came from someone that was briefed on the investigation -- not from the Mueller team.

That said, I don't know who gets briefed or why, but the article definitely suggested the leak came from someone that was briefed -- not from inside the investigation.

This is the second thread where a gratuitous complaint about Mueller leaking has been raised. Anything to discredit the investigation, I guess. Where are you guys getting this "leaks" talking point, Fox?

There will be leaks, though. People contacted in the course of the investigation will repeat things.

Leaks are a part of politics and they occur regardless of political party. Both sides bemoan leaks, both bide sides also embrace leaks when it is too their advantage.

I read the title as "Mueller Impales Grand Jury" and thought "this story is finally getting interesting".....
