OK
My son was a extra in a movie that (his part) was shot in Stillwater on Sunday. Southern Christmas was the name of the movie. It was shot at the Airport and Shelly Long was in it also. Anyone know anything about it ?

I hate to say it, but it looks like it has all the markings of a straight-to-video type production or something that will air on lifetime or some other lower-tier cable network.

The IMDB report also indicates they are filming in Baton Rouge and Guthrie.

I was in a straight to video made in Stout Hall... I played dopey guy staring at hot chicks. I don't see it listed on IMDB.

Anybody else remember when Christopher Walken was on campus filming All American Murder?

I've always wondered what they pay an extra...obviously, depends on who's in the movie I guess.

I dont remember exactly how much he was supposed to get for 8 hours but he said it ended up being about 12 hours and they paid overtime. He said he should get paid somewhere around 60 - 65 bucks. Not good but he said he learned alot. Something he has always wanted to do also. All he did was drive a vehicle by Shelly and look (stare) at her.
Before he went to OSU he wanted to direct movies. We flew to Calif. and toured USC, UCLA, Loyola Marymount and Chapman. At USC they said to him, we take about 200 film students a year. We have over 500 applicants with a perfect 4.0 you have a 3.89 why should we take you over a 4.0 Not much you can counter that with.

thanks 737...I thought it would be more than that. Too bad they let gpa dictate who has potential. I've heard that the unions really control everything going on in a "shoot"...one guy holds the camera, one guy fixes the f stop, one guy holds the cords to the camera, one guy pulls the trigger on the camera, then they take a break, and start all over again.

i'm sure he countered with because you don't want to miss out on the next oliver stone because i made an 89 in social studies
