Thats the scariest thing I've ever read.
Anyone who thought they would stop at Alex Jones is either dumb, shortsighted, a cuckservative or forgot what they did to Bernie Sanders in 2016.
That's why we have to defend ALL speech... including that of Sarah Jeong.

He's right. If it weren't for FoxNews, we'd have a lot more people whose only news information would be the filtered DNC versions and thus even more group think than we already see. The problem with FoxNews is that they have simply become the cheerleader for Trump that CNN and NBC were for Obama during his entire tenure.
We'd be better off with just the news (facts) and not the 24/7 alarmist political commentary masquerading as the news.
DeBlazio is a government official.
Him suggesting or advocating for or contemplating the removal of Fox is where my line is.
NYT deciding whether or not to hire her and having that freedom to do so is what the 1st Amendment is all about.
The same is true when it comes to whom Fox decides to hire or decides to say.
The same is true when it comes to whom Twitter, Facebook, whatever decides to let on their platform.
When government gets involved is where the line is crossed for me....and DeBlazio apparently crossed it.

“Oh, boy, I’m getting interviewed by the liberal media,” Sean Hannity says as he arrives, before assuring me he’s just kidding — mostly. “I say that to everybody.”
We’re at Fox News headquarters in New York, sitting down to talk in a boring cube of a conference room a few floors below the studio where Hannity will later host the highest-rated show in all of cable news.
Hannity thinks most journalists are biased and rarely agrees to interviews. “How you got into the building,” he wonders aloud, “I have no idea.” When his show goes live in about two hours, he’ll be dressed in a jacket and tie, with an American flag pin affixed to his lapel. His hair will be sharply parted and carefully groomed. But that’s later. Right now, Hannity’s in jeans and a black shirt, and his hair looks as if he might have just taken off a baseball cap.
I ask him about the regular reports that he has daily conversations with the president of the United States — even, it has been suggested, that he is often the last person Donald Trumptalks to at night.
“I don’t have a nightly call with anybody,” Hannity tells me. “I read these things about me that are total bullshit. Quote it. It’s just not true.”
So how much access to the president does Hannity have? That’s one of the few questions he won’t answer. “I really kind of enjoy that nobody knows, and I’m just going to leave it that way,” he says. “But I can tell you this: Nobody has ever gotten my relationship with Donald Trump right, ever.”

Yesterday I was under the weather a bit thanks to the regime one has to follow pre-colonoscopy so decided to watch a few different news channels and see what was out there especially with regards to the house race in Ohio.
Fox generally had at least one dissenter on their panels, Geraldo on The 5, a gal on the stand in for Tucker and Tammy Bruce as Tuckers stand in. As I watched CNN & MSNBC didn't really see anyone that didn't parrot the company line to varying degrees.
Fox ran and re-ran Rosie O'Donnell's screed every chance they got, as did MSNBC. Dam she's a nut! Fox contributors stated that she should used as the "face" of the democratic party going into mid-terms. I disagree and think that Keith Ellison, Maxine Waters, Schumer and Pelosi should be front and center. With the exception of one newsperson (believe on CNN) disagreeing with Rosie on the numbers of people that go to Trump rallies, no one else questions one thing she said.
In the end though, if you don't do some independent reading, research and thought your cheating yourself especially if all you do is turn on the tube to your favorite outlet and just parrot everything they say. Plus anyone who can watch hour after hour of the news is a better person than I.
Fortunately "Black Hawk Down" was on so I watched it again (book is better of course) always nice to watch the intersection of politics (Clinton not letting C-130 gunships operate in that event) and military goals (suffer 19 KIA's and pull out). We had no business in that civil war or any other civil war. Which in a way brings me back to how duplicitous the press is.......first they show you pictures of starving children and SCREAM, something must be done. Then when the nations that have the resources commit to some action (almost always a scope that is to small for the accomplishment of the needed change) the press SCREAMS that too many innocents are killed, we should be doing "x" instead of "y" etc etc.
Not sure how many of you remember the dead rangers & delta force members being dragged through the streets, but for me that was one of the saddest sights I've ever seen and it solidified my position that if those 3rd world dip shits want to kill each other off, then so be it. Not one American life is worth interfering in their civil war(s). Sorry I digress
