Two supporters of the tax, City Council members Kshama Sawant and Mike O'Brien, seemed unmoved by Amazon's decision.

"I understand Amazon doesn't like it. I'm sure they would love to go to a city that has no taxes. And maybe they will find that place," O'Brien said.

with these two

i’m picturing the nevada senator in the godfather telling michael about his greasy hair

then michael tells him he can have his answer now

Totally can't relate. In rural Oklahoma, we work our ass off to recruit $9 per hour jobs that results in section 8 housing booms.

If Seattle operates like most cities they will build the homeless shelters before the tax is implemented and the remaining citizen of Seattle will be on the hook regardless.

Whoops a daisy looks like somebody got strongarmed by big business.

The coalition is glad the "Seattle City Council has heard the voices of the people loud and clear and are now reconsidering this ill-conceived tax," said John Murray, a spokesman with the No Tax on Jobs campaign.

The City Council heard the voices prior to their vote and ignored them.

Another example of politicians who orgasmicly run for office so they can have access to billions and trillions of dollars not coming from their pockets to spend recklessly. They're like women on a shopping spree with an unlimited credit card.

And I'm sure that 7 of the council running for reelection has nothing to do with the change.

Well, it looks like the filming of Senseless in Seattle is cancelled for now. The city dunces voted to repeal their grand head tax idea in the face of strong blowback from the business community. They had a hard time calling the vote because of chants of "Stop the repeal!" The 2 dunces that voted against the repeal called Amazon an "enemy of Seattle." You know it's serious when Bezos becomes the target.

The best part is that "progressives" are going to maul the council dunces for revoking their victory. Watching progressive on progressive violence is going to be a must see.

Damn, what a freakin' coincidence; the vote was 7-2. Who woulda thunk it?:D

God love Dave Rubin. @davidallen be more like him.

Was having the Chick-fil-A discussion with a butch lesbian friend of mine (at a “globalist” football match no less), she pointed at her demure wife and said “my bitch loves her some Chick-fil-A and nobody puts baby in a corner.”

Then we got into an argument because I think their food sucks. It is fun to see how many times you can get the servers to say “my pleasure” by repeatedly thanking them though.

Hahahahahaha! My 14 year old daughter and I do the same thing. She's a master at that game.

I don't get the cult like following they have. It's chicken and there's nothing special about theirs.

Chick Fil A workers creep me out (love the food though).

When I leave, I feel like I have been to a Bill Gothard homeschooler convention.

"How may I serve you?" is another one that gets me. They don't want me to answer that one.

<---------- Doesn't eat Chik-fil-A.

Nothing against them except for the lack of parking and lines waiting to order. I prefer local places to eat with table service.
