Amazing what can happen when you don't willingly piss half your fan base off. At least MLB gets that protecting your brand is marketing 101. I would have to say the IQ of the average MLB seems to be higher than the average NFL player. Maybe it's all that head trauma.

Of course that is some of it but I don't think a 95% increase is all about LA, NY and Chicago, two of those teams were in last year.

Last year you had LA, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, San Francisco, Cleveland, Toronto and Texas. Hardly the backwater of America.

Yep. There were a lot of casual fans that tuned in to see if the Cubbies could finally do it. I'm not a CHC fan, but was one of those cheering for them last year.

A troubled fellow, it appears. There was another report in which he stated that he was refused service because of his kneeling. The waiter denied this, saying he didn’t even know who this guy is.

Maybe he will kneel when the bailiff says, “All rise” as the judge enters the courtroom.

Interesting, but not surprising .. that the only MLB player to kneel has been caught lying, because I assume he felt he need to play the victim card, and now he has assaulted a women with a gun.
