My understanding is that they are going after the companies. This is intended to send a message all the way around to stop illegal immigration. For companies to not hire illegals, and to those looking to cross the border illegally you are not going to find jobs if you are illegally in this country. It is meant to address the problem from both directions.

Agree. Need to open up the guest book, let illegals register for work visas, and fingerprint them. They work and don’t commit crimes, they can stay.

Tyson already got in big trouble for having all the mexicans in their own farms. The integrators squeeze the farmers so bad (at least in E. ok and W, AR that I know) they can't afford labor. One of the reasons they have these contract farmers is so Tyson and the other big integrators don't have the illegal labor headaches.

While I agree with your sentiment here the reality is much different. We are a nation of laws and whether we like it or not some of those laws can be skewed to protect employers in these situations. Those laws are made intentionally by corrupt politicians that put their own well being above the well being of the people. Instead of just getting upset with the employers we should be just as upset with the politicians that created the loopholes in the laws allowing employers to cover their ass.

LOL, anyone can pick up a social security card at the local flea market.

I did better than that, myself and a couple of others help our housekeeper obtain citizenship. Was surprisingly easy and not near as expensive nor time consuming as I thought it was.

I’m kind of on the side of the business owners on this one.

I’ve done numerous home remodels on properties and I always prefer hiring Mexican crews. My main guys disappeared (best work I’ve ever seen) so was forced to hire a group of redneck white guys who charged more. Crappiest sheet rock work I’ve had so far. Very disappointed with it.

I don’t give two flips if these guys have papers or not, the immigrants simply do better work for less money. Lesson learned.

Worked with a couple of guys once, they did Maintenence on the Mechanical stuff at Tyson before working at the plant where I was a Supervisor. They said if you saw how nasty the place was and what went on there you would never eat their products again.
Not a big chicken eater myself and do not wish to be a contributor to the Univ of Arkiesaw so I don't buy their stuff anyway.
