watch the first five minutes of this and prepare for your eyes to be opened wide -- he's the social justice warriors / feminists worst nightmare!!! (literally) lol

I listened to almost all of the podcast on a long drive (Joe Rogan podcasts are the best for long drives and trips - they're usually three ours with no interruptions or commercials) ---- this one is crazy.

What a character for the GOP to have on their side. (or at least the 'alt-right' )

Rogan podcasts are listened to by a VERY wide demographic -- so Milo's exposure (no pun intended) is going to be huge.

I'm in the middle of that podcast right now.

He's an interesting dude saying interesting, provocative things.

I'm not sure how much of it he truly believes and how much of it is more about his admitted attraction to transgressive, provocative, and "dirty" (his word) people and ideas.

Meh - provocation for attention - privileged Tory - not sure he has anything in his background to justify taking him seriously...

Agree with all -- I actually stopped the podcast about halfway through on a long drive -- it was just exhausting (I'm sure you know what I mean). I went back later and listened to the rest and it was really interesting.

The 'right-wing' needs people like Milo though, who can comfortably fit into pop culture / 'hip' situations and be insulated from criticism (because he's gay), but has the brain and wittiness to quickly back things up.

It also needs edgy, funny, provocative, libertarian types (like Gavin McInnes - co-founder of Vice News) -- people who aren't 'squares' or 'boring',

Since the left is increasingly about conformity and PC - the true edginess of freedom, not having to co-conform (which makes for the best art, music etc) could theoretically come from the right.

He was easily talked out of many of his positions by Rogan - not quite the intellectual heavy weight.

I think so too.

Though I think he was deferring and appeasing the host to a certain extent.

That's one of the reasons I said he was saying "interesting, provocative" things and not "really intelligent and thoughtful" things.

Thanks for turning me on to some really interesting people.

I think Milo was 'taking the piss' on about half the things he said.

Joe Rogan is an extremely smart and savvy guy (successful stand up comedian - MMA announcer -- black belts in Taekwondo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu -- and his brain is intellectually nimble -- him and Milo were great entertainment).

I've been listening to Rogan podcasts for years -- if you haven't, I highly suggest them. (scroll down that page for an idea) They're one of the best things on the internet for learning new things and entertainment.

Las Vegas headliner Joe Rogan’s podcast has become so popular, “The Joe Rogan Experience” earns a staggering 11 million downloads a month. Those are TV show numbers.

Rogan wins listeners (like me) by talking — for two to three hours per episode — to interviewees broadcasters often ignore: physicists describing the universe, Vegas UFC fighters, comedians, evolutionary psychologists, people devoted to shrooms, and unfamous people who have offbeat ideas.

Rogan achieves that mark by being authentic, inquisitive, funny, wise, headstrong, yet humble. He never resorts to old radio tricks of manufacturing shocks, screaming conflicts and sound effects.

“There’s no one telling me what to do” to “spice it up,” the former host of NBC’s “Fear Factor” said. “There’s no one that has any expectations other than the listeners.”

“It’s important not to get trapped into an ideology. I have a lot of liberal values, especially when it comes to discrimination, when it comes to sexual discrimination, sexual orientation, gay rights and racism,” Rogan said.

“But I’m also a gun owner. I’m in the NRA. I’m a hunter. I just see there’s a lot on both sides. This idea that you have to subscribe to only one ideology or the other, it’s a trap.”

Joe Rogan is a regular must listen podcast.

I'd also suggest WTF with Marc Maron.

Funny... I am actually listening to Rogan right now, which I do a couple of times / month.

He has some really good and uncommon guests.

If you all want to see a really good one, check the Victor Conte (he's the Balco steroid guy, was involved with Barry Bonds etc). One of the most interesting ever. (interview starts 8 minutes in)

Carolla fan here. Rogan and Maron are top of the class as well.

This is going to sound like a really dumb statement, but I can never find Carolla's podcasts. I can only find shows where he is a guest.

Is there some trick to searching for it?
